Kris Allshouse serves as Executive Director for the Los Angeles County RTC, and teaches at Golden West College. He is a retired Detective Supervisor and POST Master Instructor. He has designed and taught over 70 courses for CA Law Enforcement including the POST ICI Officer Involved Shooting, Homicide, Burglary, Vehicle Theft, and Identity Theft Investigative Courses. Kris was an instructor and curriculum writer for the POST ICI Instructor’s Course, the IDI Leadership Mentoring and Coaching Course, the IDI Advanced Instructor Course, and the Master Instructor Certification Course. Kris developed the RRAC Coaching model, which resulted in his keynote address to the IDI Instructor Symposium in 2011.

In 2000 Kris was distinguished by receiving the Police Excellence Officer of the Year Award for investigative work on a string of gang homicides in Long Beach CA. As a police officer, he has received three other major awards: one for leading a patrol entry team on an active shooter response, one for rescuing hostages in a house, and one for rescuing hostages in a business. In April 2012, Kris was honored to receive the CA POST ICI Robert Presley Founder’s Award. He has received several additional awards for instruction and curriculum development within the POST Instructor Development Institute.

Kris’s tactical background as a SWAT operator, medic, and waterborne team member has culminated in his working as an anti-terrorism consultant for LJT &Associates and as a tactical drone instructor for agencies across the United States.  He created the RRAC Coaching Model©, the 85% Rule of course design and classroom facilitation©, and the ISD Triangle©.
